We started by doing podcasts that were hosted on Spotify. Unfortunately, that setup required a person to have a premium membership to Spotify to hear the entire podcast, or they would get 30 second samples of the songs. As the podcasts were our way to help the independent/underground bands get their music heard this was not seen as the proper way to go about things. We took a look at what we could do, and decided our future was in compiling playlists on Spotify that could be seen as a podcast without our speaking parts in it. This way the focus is completely on the music. 

As of March 1, 2024 our playlist The Indie Monthly Playlist! has become an actual monthly playlist, and we started The Indie Daily Playlist! as well as The Indie Weekly Playlist! Our goal is to keep bringing the best music from the independent scene on a regular basis.

We ended up going through another rebuild as of June 1, 2024 in order to better serve the indie community. Now we do 1 playlist called Dukester's Indie Playlist that focuses 100% on the indie community, and it updates weekly. We also have other playlists that are a mix between mainstream artists and independent artists to help drive more attention to the indie community.

So, yes, we have changed completely from where we started, but our focus is still on helping bands get their music heard by more people.
